Elise Leon is the pen name of two sisters, Evelien and Lisanne Faassen.
They are originally from the Netherlands, but moved to Belgium as teenagers. They studied English literature and French language respectively at university in Scotland before working in education.
Soul Witch is their debut YA contemporary fantasy novel.
