Salima Tiamani

Franco-Moroccan author living in Belgium for almost 20 years, Salima Tiamani writes mainly in the children’s category. His first series intended for 9-12-year-olds, Sam, will be released in early 2024 by Livr’s Éditions.

Mother of two teenagers, she is fascinated by the imaginative capacity of children and wishes, through her stories, to help them cultivate it. They are one of his main sources of inspiration and motivation, both for his writing and in his everyday life.

Also a columnist for RTBF, on their online media Les Grenades (which breaks down the news from a feminist point of view), she shares her opinion on readings that address issues of gender and inclusion.

She occasionally publishes a few short texts on her site where she humorously addresses her questions about her life as a woman and an author, as well as on her Instagram account.

Her short story L’Écho des collines has just been published in the collection Retrait du Monde, a creation of the La Chaumière collective, of which she has been a part since 2022.
